Catch a ride through history while solving the mysteries
that lie deep in the darkness of the museum. Students
will create their own play using improvisation, character
development, and theater games. Let your imagination

Twilight • Ages 12-15 • $320
Every girl dreams about her soul mate but what happens
when he turns out to be a vampire? Bite into this adventure
and create your own unique story line for Edward and Bella.
You will learn how to develop characters and add special
effects and stage combat. Theatre games and improvisation
will help you bring your script to life!

Wizarding Worlds• Ages 9-11 • $320
Which wizard do you want to be? You will create
a play based on Harry Potter books. Students will
learn character development, storytelling,
script writing through improvisations, interactive
science experiments, theatre games, acting and
directing. Come to Platform 9¾ for a wizarding
tale of a time!
Inkheart • Ages 12-15 • $320
What happens when real life and imagination collides? Join
the adventures of Mo and Meggie as they bring books to life
through the sound of their voices. Bring your own characters
to life as you create a script full of adventures out of your
favorite books! Participate in scriptwriting, character
development through improvisation, theatre games and more!

Is there a Rumble in the Jungle? Of course!
You can join in the fun and go wild acting out
jungle adventures. Music, creative movement,
pantomime and acting skills are used to create
this exciting safari.
Puppet Parade • Ages 6-8 •

Puppets galore! Come and join in on the fun! There will be
puppets for you to play with and puppets for you to make.
Students will learn about emotions, verbalization an
imagination development.
Crack up Comedy • Ages 9 & up •

Jokes, Belly Laughs, sketches and more!
Develop your comedic timing and build confidence.
Join in the fun with theatre games, improvisation
and scene work.

Swish, Swish, Swish on over as you act out stories that
take place under the deep blue sea. Join Rainbow Fish,
The Little Mermaid and Nemo as you play out their stories.
Music, creative movement, pantomime and pre-acting skills
are used to create the under the sea adventures.

Come join the crazy crew as you move it, move it to the
sounds of the jungle and use your imagination to design your
escape route out of this country. Creative storytelling,
costumes and props all make this one wild ride!

Comprehensive Musical Theatre Camp for Ages 9-11

SummerStars Bound is a three-week comprehensive Musical Theatre program for children experienced in acting.
Taught by professional directors, the program encompasses many aspects of theatrical production focusing on
audition techniques, acting, singing, and dancing. This program concludes with performances of Dear Edwina, Jr, a
musical production staged and performed entirely by participants for family, friends, and the public. Rehearsals are
M-F 9:30-4:30pm and Shows run July 7-9th Tuesday & Wednesday 10am, 1pm and Thursday 10am, 1pm, and 7pm.

What happens when teen runaways end up having paranormal
powers? An adventure full of excitement as these teen aliens
race by cab to get home as evil forces stand in their way!

Comprehensive Musical Theatre Camp for Teens Entering Grades 7-12
July 11-25, 2009
SummerStars is a two-week comprehensive residential and commuter program for gifted and talented teens.
Taught by professional actors, directors, choreographers, and musicians, the program encompasses many
aspects of theatrical production focusing on acting, singing, and dancing. This program concludes with a full
musical production, High School Musical, staged and performed entirely by participants for family, friends, and the public on the
final Saturday. Mornings of the program find the students rotating Among classes in acting styles, techniques,
music, and movement. Afternoons are devoted to rehearsals, set building, costuming, and choreography.
Amid all the daily activity, the students will find time to attend a professional production at one of the
prestigious venues in the Fort-Worth /Dallas area. The Session opens and closes with a party.
